| Medium(16)=Potato Dextrose Agar: |

Potato, peeled and cut 200.0 g Glu cose 10.0 g Agar 15.0 g Distilled water 1.0 L Boil potato for 20 min. Strain through a fine sieve. Add glucose and agar, and boil until dissolved. Do not use new potatoes. Adjust pH to 5.4 – 5.6. Comment: Commercial Potato dextrose agar (Difco or Oxiod) is available. |
