Medium(14)=Oat Meal Agar: |
Oatmeal (Quaker White Oats) 20.0 g Trace salts solution (see below) 1.0 g Agar 18.0 g Distilled water 1.0 L Cook or steam 20.0 g of oatmeal in 1.0 L of distilled water for 20 min. Filter through cheesecloth. Make up volume to 1.0 L and add 1.0 ml of trace salt solution. Adjust pH to 7.2 and add 18.0 g agar. Trace salt solution: FeSO4.7H2O 0.1 g MnCl2.4H2O 0.1 g ZnSO4.7H2O 0.1 g Distilled water 100.0 ml |
